A fantastic night at our PTA table quiz.  There was a great crowd and lots of fun.  Thank you to everyone who attended, sent donations, helped out in any way and supported the event.

Derrygonnelly PS celebrates World Book Day by getting creative with their wooden spoons.  Well done to all our pupils for such magnificent creations, you overwhelmed us with your artistic flair and creativity, you really know your book characters. We had a fun afternoon with our World Book Day quiz, well done everyone.

We had a fantastic day celebrating with Mrs Ferguson on her special birthday.  We hope you enjoyed all the treats and singing Mrs Ferguson.  We want to wish you a very happy birthday on hope you enjoy all your celebrations.

Primary 1 - 3 were glad to see the sun again and get back out suited and booted in their outdoor play area.  

Primary 1 - 7 had a great day at the Folk Park.  Primary 1 - 4 had to go down to the village where Mrs Campbell gave them a shopping list and money to buy her goods that she needed.  They went to the post office to get her letters and then had to work out what shops they had to go to so as to complete the shopping list.  We had great fun finding everything.  Primary 5 - 7 got to see how pancakes were made long ago and were able to make lavender bags.  

Primary 1-7 took part in Safer Internet Day during the week in their ICT lessons with Mrs Hassard.  This years theme is ‘Too good to be true’.  They took part in live lessons on Just to Easy and enjoyed learning about scams, what they may look like and what to do to keep themselves safe online.  We had some great discussions and are all making information posters on how to protect ourselves from online scams.  Why don’t you ask the children how do we keep ourselves safe and avoid a ‘scam’!

P3,4&5 enjoyed learning how to use animate on Just to Easy.  They made a lovely North Pole picture and animated some characters on their page.  They learned about reels and ‘onion skinning’.

We enjoyed a lovely morning at Aladdin.  The children enjoyed the show at Devenish College and it was great to see a few past pupils on stage.  Well done to everyone.

Primary 4-7 enjoyed a workshop organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council on feeding birds in the winter months. After an informative powerpoint about all the different birds living in our country they got the chance to make their own bird feeders.
