The controlled sector is the sector for the community and for every community - striving to provide high quality education in rural and urban contexts, equal and equitable and collaborative. Our children and young people are educated together in a community of schools at the heart of their communities. 

The ethos of the sector is clear - controlled schools are open to all faiths and none, in providing high quality education for children and young people to enable them to learn, develop and grow together, within the ethos of non-denominational Christian values and principles.
