Outdoor Learning
Tony was back in again to teach us about bats and echo location . We were learning how we need to use our senses to find our way around especially when another sense is restricted.
Tony from Oakwood is coming in to us to do some outdoor learning with us. We have been playing games linked to the environment and on minibeasts hunts.
Singing about a jaybird, learning about foxes, otters and mink (an invasive species) and going on a bug hunt.
We were learning about native species to our country, animal specification and going on a hunt for all the animals we were learning about. To keep warm we were treated to some S’mores - yum yum!
