World book day fun!

• Fantastic trip to the beach

  The whole school thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Rossnowlagh beach.  The sun shone and everyone was happy playing as a whole school together.

  

• DPS Leavers’ Assembly and Prize Day

  Mon 26 Jun 2023

  Today we held our Leavers’ Assembly and Prize Day.  The Primary 7 children shared their memories of the last 7 years of their time at Derrygonnelly Primary School.  The rest of the school gave them a fond farewell by singing songs and poems to them and giving them some advice as they begin the next part of their learning journey.  We as a whole school wish them well and look forward to hearing from them in their journey ahead.

  We finished our Assembly by handing out prizes:

• Sport's Day

  We had a very enjoyable Sport's Day with glorious weather.  Well done to all the children for doing their best and taking part with great sportsmanship.  Thank you to everyone for coming and supporting our children and cheering them on.  Thanks to Kevin Farrell for the generous donations towards our refreshments.
