Shared Education
This is our 7th year carrying out Shared Education with Killyhommon Primary School with St. Patricks Primary School joining our partnership in 2022. We are carrying out Shared Education this year in the Spring and Summer term. Programmes will be carried out in Primary 1, 2 and 3, Primary 4 and 5 and Primary 6 and 7. Each programme will be planned and taught by the class teachers from all 3 schools working collaboratively together. The children from Primary 1 – 7 will have the opportunity to take part in a ‘fun’ days together to make and renew friendships with the children from Killyhommon Primary School and St. Patricks Primary School.
Another fantastic week of Shared Education for Primary 1 - 3.
The final day of our Shared Education Programme for P4/5 today (4/4/25). All schools get to bring home their Graffiti Art Billboards. We finished the day off with some amazing Parkour moves. A great time was had by all.
Primary 1, 2 and 3 had a very busy 4th week of Shared Education. On Wednesday we walked around to St Patricks to play and carry out our dancing and drama with Ciara, we had great fun. On Thursday we travelled to Fermanagh Fun Farm for a day of sun, play, animals, grooming and a quad ride. Thank you to Alan and all his team for taking time to bring us around the farm.
Primary 4 and 5 had a fantastic day in the sun at Blue Green Yonder over on Castle Island. Thanks to Trevor and his team for carrying out archery, bushcraft and a leisurely paddle round Enniskillen on their canoes.
Primary 6 and 7 enjoyed their first day of Shared Education at the Marble Arch Caves. They had an enjoyable day exploring the caves and learning about the local geology.
P4/5 enjoyed their third fun-filled day of Shared Education on Friday 24th March. We walked the short distance to Derrygonnelly Community Centre where the children from all 3 schools had an action-packed day. We spent the morning creating beautiful pieces of graffiti art and finished the day off learning some tricky Hip-Hop moves with Urban Motion. Looking forward to completing these workshops next week.

Week 3 of Shared Education for Primary 1 - 3. We had the pleasure of travelling up to Killyhommon PS where we played and had more drama, singing and movement activities with Ciara from Fermanagh School of Music.
P4/5 had a great second day of Shared Education with Killyhommon and St Patrick’s Primary Schools. The sun shone all day ☀️ for our Woodland Exploration. Children had opportunities to measure the height of trees, collect samples of minibeasts, listen to the sounds of the woods and classify trees using their leaves. A wonderful day was enjoyed by all.
P4/5 Day Two Shared Education - Woodland Wonderland at Florencecourt House
Week 2 of Shared Education for Primary 1 - 3. We had fun at Drama with Ciara, outdoor play, indoor play and a picnic in the sun.
Primary 1 - 3 had their first day of Shared Education by visiting Florencecourt House. They had a very busy but fun day being a servant for the Cole family. They got to experience life as a servant 150 years ago. All the children got to dress in the appropriate clothing for their duties, had to prepare food in the kitchen, carry out laundry duties and do some house keeping in the servant quarters. They got to experience school from long ago (think they preferred Mrs Hassard) as well as play with toys from olden days. Thank you to the ladies at Florencecourt for a lovely morning.
Primary 4 and 5 went to Marble Arch Caves for the first of their trips. They were learning all about rock formations, limestone and the local geology as well as getting a tour down in the caves.
